Three main objectives
Safety
Ensure the safety of our tests ...
Reliability
... the reliability of the results ...
Privacy
... as well as the privacy of patient details.
And state-of-the-art technology
Based on the latest scientific findings
-
CLIA certified
To ensure quality laboratory testing, our laboratory is certified by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). Only CLIA certified labs are allowed to accept human samples for diagnostic testing.
-
Value chain
We offer the entire value chain from test materials to evaluation, including the proprietary hardware and software solutions needed for processing and analyzing samples.
-
Molecular diagnostics
At the 7DROPS lab, we use in vitro molecular diagnostics to test for sensitizationSensitization is the first step towards developing a type I allergy. Allergic reactions do not occur upon first contact with an allergen. Before that can happen, your immune system must be able to recognize an allergen. When you get stung by a bee, your immune system will remember the structure of the allergen (= a protein in the insect venom) to be able to produce IgE antibodies against it in the future. This process is called sensitization. to a large panel of allergen and food antigen sources from a small sample of blood.
Our approach is based on a combination of the latest scientific findings and state-of-the-art-technology.

Clinical research
As leaders in the field of immunodiagnostics, we continuously drive evolution in multiplex testing, with a special focus on type I allergies. A quarter of the staff behind the science of 7DROPS is dedicated to research and evelopment. It is a team comprised of assay developers, biochemists, chemists, and molecular biologists. Needless to say, they are essential parts of our team.
We are part of an extensive academic collaboration network and are in constant conversation with the scientific communities from the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe. This mutually beneficial exchange ensures our ability to translate the newest findings in research directly into our products.
Our science-oriented philosophy gives us the edge over our competitors in the allergy and food intolerance testing market. We continuously work on developing new applications for our patented nano-bead technology to ensure that we stay ahead of the curve in terms of innovation and quality of our products.
